Goorlil Consulting workshops support teachers, educators and leaders to understand their personal and professional obligations using an anti-racism and gender-affirming lens to become more responsive and greater skilled professionals.


We co-design workshops to meets professionals where they are at and build on the knowledge that your organisation and staff bring to the table. We provide leadership on using the AIATSIS Guide to evaluating and selecting education resources, AITSL's Cultural Responsiveness toolkit and resourcess, Reconciliation Australia's Narragunnawali platform, and many others.

We offer  guidance to develop or review school improvement plan  and centre plans with a focus on anti-racism and anti-discrimination of LGBTQIA+communities.

For services, this includes advice on how to exceed the National Quality Standard and review  professional learning needs. For schools, this may involve planning, monitoring and evaluating for school improvement and staff professional learning needs.

We also offer detailed school and service Narragunnawali Reconciliation Action Plan advice and support.

We provide collaborative instruction on the development of school or service-wide policies that support First Nations students and families. We also provide leadership on LGBTQIA+ policy development, with a particular focus on gender diversity.

Using the  Australian Curriculum with a focus on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures cross-curriculum priority, we develop curriculum plans and resources for teachers. We support and review programming for Early Childhood Education and Care using the Early Years Learning Framework.

Goorlil Consulting provide incursions to schools and services that support every day and special occasion curriculum delivery. 


Incursions can also be linked to professional learning goals for staff. We use AITSL's observation and coaching strategies to model and collaboratively reflect on quality pedagogical practice.
